Respect: the value that honors human dignity

Respect: the value that honors human dignity

Respect is a fundamental value for our association of chaplains, because we believe in the value of each individual, regardless of his religious beliefs, his ethnic origin, his sexual orientation or his socio-economic status. Respect means to honor human dignity, recognizing that each person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

Respect also means listening to others with care, being open to their ideas and opinions, and recognize that everyone has the right to express themselves and to be heard. By acting with respect for others, we create relationships of trust and mutual respect, which are essential to support people in their journey.
